So for my internship I am doing 300 hours to receive 6 credits so I can graduate, YAY! Anyways, I am at about 220 hours as of today and I have learned so much. First off I need to thank my mentor Paije Schmittdiel, for being the best of the best and also a great friend. So far I have designed articles and advertisements for a magazine for the Greater Flint Area called On the Town Magazine. On top of that I have also designed print material for The Office Place, local businesses, and businesses in the metro detroit area. We are moving along from print since it isn’t in high demand as of now and have moved on to the world of WEBSITES! When I was in school I wasn’t very interested in Web Design because it seemed so difficult dealing with code and everything else. Come to find out coding isn’t the only way to design websites. We use a content managing system called Joomla, just as intense and confusing as dreamweaver, just more design friendly. Here is a website of my hometown Paije has created and I made cute little updates like these today.
